Winning and losing

Our topic this week is all about winning and losing. I play board games a lot, and I often don't win. Not because I'm not good at them, quite the contrary. I often lose games in my current group because it is perceived that I am better at board games than the other people I play with and so if there is a toss up about who should be given the bad card it will almost always come to me even if i'm already losing.

I hate being ganged up on for no reason, but I don't mind taking hits in this way because I don't really mind if I win or loss. I have played with people in the past who become horrible people if they think they are losing and it can ruin a good game. I would not want to be that person.

So over to you... How do you feel about winning and losing board game?

Hope you enjoy the board game chat :0)

Some of your Winning and Losing questions will include:
  • How much does your game group care about who wins and who loses?
  • What would you say your average win/lose ratio is for board games?
  • Have you ever lost any components for a game? Did you get replacments?
  • How do you deal with bad losers when playing board games?
  • Are there some board games you win more often than loss? Why is that?

If you have a question you would like me to ask the board game community, drop me a tweet  @BoardGameHour before we start and I'll see if I can add it in :0)
